  • Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes (120 credits)

    This course has been recognized by the International Diabetes Federation

  • MSc in Diabetes (180 credits)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Endocrinology (120 credits)
  • MSc in Endocrinology (180 credits)

The courses are focused on providing postgraduate education for the whole team, from GP through to practice nurses, diabetes specialist nurses, endocrine nurses, nurse educators, pharmacists, podiatrists, dietitians etc.

The diabetes diploma is based on the IDF''s International Curriculum for Diabetes Health Professional Education.

Venue dates

Online, 1 year course, September or March start with two days introductory lectures.

Students may attend these lectures in UK (Glyntaff campus, University of South Wales)

Course Title: Chronic condition management: Diabetes
Diabetes has reached world wide epidemic proportions and is fast becoming the defining disease of the 21st century. It also represents a major challenge to health organizations in chronic disease management. This module provides the basis for health care professionals to deliver high quality multidisciplinary diabetes care.

The module is available as a stand alone module or as part of the MSc (Chronic disease management) programme. The home department of the module is theSchoolofHealth Science. Its development is a joint endeavour between theSchoolofHealth Scienceand theSchoolofMedicine. It is a 30 credit module which will entitle successful participants to a “certificate” and which can be put towards a further qualification.
